What Changed in 2008

Now that 2008 is just about over, I figured it would be interesting to look back at what's changed in retail during the past year. According to my count, Bedford added 12 new stores, 7 stores were renovated, 1 store moved within Bedford and 2 stores closed.

Restaurant on Middlesex Turnpike (Name TBA)

Predictions for 2009:
I am predicting that the Dunkin' Donuts will be renovated.

Hi Adam,
One other closure in 2008 was the "Bedford Martial Arts Studio". It was housed in the former Callahan's Karate studio space above Gammy's on North Road.

Hello again,
Another change was
http://www.fitassociates.org/. They moved from the space next to Callahan's to the larger space above Callahan's. They also changed their name(I forget their previous name). They are a Bedford Chamber business.

One more addition is the Bedford Historical Society shop in the Blake Block.

Watson Law Offices moved from the victorian at 140 The Great Road to 142 The Great Road (the space formerly occupied by Salon Alfonse).

Christine - thanks for the updates. I skipped Bedford Historical Society since they were only planning to be open for December.

hi Adam, The restaraunt on Middlesex Turnpike is Homeplate Cafe moving from down the street in Billerica.
